Mrs. Laverne Poindexter is a registered nurse and the executive administrator of Georgia Vascular Specialists. She holds degrees in nursing and psychology  from the University of Rochester and a Masters of Business Administration from Georgia State University.

 

Laverne Poindexter is an indispensable and integral part of the GVS team as she coordinates and manages our practice, wound care service and vascular laboratory. Her leadership experience includes roles as clinical faculty at Greater Hartford Community College and executive director of America Nursing Resources in Hartford, Connecticut.

In addition to her role at Georgia Vascular Specialists,  Laverne Poindexter is the founder, sole share holder, and chief executive officer of the PMR Holding Company, LLC. Poindexter is also a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and the National Association of Female Executives.
