To Our Patients,
Our community, doctors, and staff are working diligently to protect the health of all our patients. It is understandable to feel concerned and even a bit anxious. We want to assure you that at Georgia Vascular Specialists, our main objective is to keep you safe should the virus come to the area we serve. We are monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic closely and we are communicating with city officials, the state health department and the hospital administrators at both WellStar Atlanta Medical Center and Piedmont Hospital.
It is important that you continue to follow your appointment schedule, prescription directives, and guidance from your GVS physicians to remain as healthy as possible. As you are likely aware, preexisting conditions complicate the treatment and recovery of patients who are diagnosed with the virus. We want to make sure your vascular health is always as strong as possible. Especially in the event that you experience a new health challenge from what you are currently being treated for.
The symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to other respiratory illnesses we see this time of year. If you are experiencing shortness of breath, cough, fever, or have been in contact with someone exposed to the corona virus, please call our office for more instructions before your scheduled appointment.
To protect the health of our patients and staff please see the attached page to see the following protocols we are implementing effective immediately. Please do not hesitate to call our office with any questions or concerns you may have.
