Our medical assistants are not only certified and professional, but exude incredible compassion and attentiveness when assisting our patients. Our team works closely with our vascular surgeons to assists in making sure all of our patients have the best experience, every time.

     Lania P. Hayden is a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant who thrives in delivering compassionate efficient care in a fast-paced environment. Her outstanding ability to connect with patients works collaboratively with care teams at all levels. Lania is also a certified BLS Instructor working primarily with teens & young adults who have an interest in joining the medical field. 

     She is a graduate of Concorde Career Institute (Medical Assisting), Broward College (Medical Billing & Coding) and The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale (Culinary Arts).  She enjoys cooking in her spare time specializing in Jamaican & Southern cuisines.

     Gloris Powell has over 30 years of healthcare experience and has been an intricate part of the GVS family for 4 years. Gloris earned her medical assistant certification from Draughons College of Atlanta and her associates degree from Brown Mackee College.

     In addition to her broad spectrum of medical experience and wonderful rapport with our patients, she is Max Pulse Certified by The Cardio Group.

     A Southwest Atlanta native, James Hill graduated from Benjamin E. Mays High School and studied Business at Georgia Southern University. He obtained his medical assistant certification at Malix Institute where he majored in Biology at Atlanta Metropolitan State College.

     Since 2007 James has worked as a medical assistant and even traveled to countries in Africa and South America for medical relief missions.  His love for life and helping others is beyond reproach. He uses his personable and empathetic nature to achieve optimal patient care.
